Is NHPBR a non-profit organization?


NHPBR is a federally recognized 501c3 tax exempt organization, which means that your donations are tax deductible. NHPBR follows each donation with a thank you letter that indicates the amount or item donated. Please save this letter as a receipt for tax purposes.


How can I donate money?


You can now donate online with a credit card or a checking account via PayPal! We would very much appreciate your filling in the shipping address information in the paypal form, so that we can follow up with a thank you letter. You may choose to donate any amount by clicking any of the "Donation" buttons on our site. Please let us know if this is a memorial gift, or a gift "in honor of" so we may send an acknowledgment. We are also always in need of extra crates, leashes, collars and quality dog food, as well as dog toys for our foster homes. Pet store gift certificates really help us. If you would like to sponsor a dog, or donate to a specific cause, please email us and we will contact you with the appropriate information about where your donation can be sent. Monetary donations are used to help pay for and offset the costs of veterinary services for the dogs in our program first. We are always in need of and truly appreciate receiving the following supplies.
