The purpose of this page here is to help keep our area up to speed on dogs we'd like to bring in to our program but can't due to no available space. Hemingway

Good with Kids: Yes.
History: Found tied to a utility pole. Currently healing from several bite wounds and gaining weight.
Temperament Evaluation Completed: No. No. We will complete an evaluation when we have found a foster home willing to care for him. Please fill out our Foster Application if you are interested!


Henry

Age: About 2-3 years
Weight: 40-50lbs
Good with Dogs: Yes
Good with Cats: Unknown
Good with Kids: Unknown - Will be determined at time of evaluation.
History: Unknown. In a local shelter and he's been there too long!

Lucky

Age: 2+ years
Weight: About 50-60lbs
Good with Dogs: Very interesting in other dogs but may be too rude for most.
Good with Cats: Showed little interest in vet clinic cat.
Good with Kids: Yes
History: A good Samaritan found Lucky on the side of the road in the middle of October. Lucky has been to the vet and has been neutered and is up to date on vaccinations and heartworm negative. The clinic had to remove a stick that was lodged in his gums and is currently treating the spot on his nose and is making every attempt to save his eye. It's unlikely however that full vision will be restored to the eye.
Temperament Evaluation Completed: Yes! We believe that Lucky may actually be a pit bull/shar pei mix which does provide some protective tendencies. Lucky is a stellar, loving dog who wants nothing more than to please. We cannot bring Lucky into our program until we have found a foster home willing to care for him!
